Rode my bike into work for the second time this year, the first being on January 2nd. It was a good ride, and it made me feel good that I’m not polluting the world that my shortie will soon be inhabiting, if all goes well. Otherwise, I had a really weird synchronous moment yesterday. I’m listening to “When the world is running down” by the Police when Paul Livak, a friend of mine, instant messaged me this link which led me to this link, both of which are about apocalyptic scenarios involving energy needs for 10 billion people. That’s a need we won’t be able to meet, and it’ll be here in, oh, 35 years. Which means my kid will be that old, roughly my age, then. MMM MMM Good.

And, speaking of energy.. Don’t rely on these guys to help.. Here’s how Andrew Fastow, a man who apparently has no conscious, having stolen some $60 billion and shoved it into offshore banks all over w/his cronies, gets… oh.. 10 years for doing so. That’s like $6 billion of theft/year. Man. Mr. Fastow, if you need someone to serve it for you, I will sell my time at $1 billion for the whole 10 year stretch. You have to pull the money from yer offshore accts, tho, ‘cause I don’t want to pay taxes on $1 billion. shit.
