Torture: when reason fails, use force
18 12 2005Back to back Post posts: Torture’s Long Shadow, from the WaPo has been the most sobering essay I’ve read in awhile. It makes me sad that we must learn morality lessons from Stalin. Though it may be possible to learn from the negative example, and Stalin most certainly is that, I am afraid that when Bush looks in the mirror, Stalin is whom he will see.
